Chapter Seven Act 6

While the group were going through the forest, Mille was waiting at the edge of Billy's Boat. “You seem bothered Mille, is everything alright?” Knuckles asked. “Yes, I think so.” Mille said. “What bothers you?” Knuckles asked. “It's Anna, perhaps I've seen her before, but sadly, I don't remember.” Mille said. “Speaking of Anna, is she still crying?” Knuckles asked. “Yeah, but I can understand, Ivory's gone.” Tails said. “Hey, I think I see Sonic and others!” Ava said. (Everyone looked to the island and saw Sonic and the group heading towards the boat. They got on and Sonic went to Billy who was with Bristol and Doppler) “Billy, we got what we were looking for, it's time to set sail.” Sonic said. “Very well young lad, alright mates, it's time to leave!” Billy yelled. (The goat crew had rushed around and had gotten the anchor and set the sails to get wind. The boat had then began to go onto the ocean.
An hour later and now the group is in the middle of the ocean. Everyone was looking around and all they saw was water) “So it's been a while since we left, now where do we go?” Sonic asked. “I'm not really sure about that myself.” Doppler said. “Should we head back to Pirates Coast?” Billy asked. “I don't think so.” Ava said. “Poyo.” Kirby said. (The three boys looked and saw Ava with Bristol. In Ava's hands was a golden metal beetle with a wind up key on it's back) “What is that?” Sonic asked. “It's one of the Rebellion Beetles, they are used to find us members.” Ava explained. “So how is it able to find you out of other members?” Rose asked. (She was sitting on a barrel) “What are you still doing here, your part of the Dictator's army, the third highest member compared to General Metal Android!” Bristol said. “I quit because I had enough with the Dictator.” Rose said. “But how could you quit, you were very loyal to him.” Ava said. “I was, until I had began to discover who I ounce was.” Rose said. “Can we just get back to the beetle already?” Sonic asked. “Whatever you say.” Rose said. “Um yeah, the reason this beetle can follow us is by, (Ava and Bristol removed their left gloves and had revealed a green ring with a tree symbol colored brown) these.” Ava explained. “These are Tracker Rings, you see this beetle's closed wings, it forms the brown tree so it can follow us no matter where we are.” Bristol explained. “Interesting, all my years of science and I've never seen anything like this being used like this before.” Doppler said. “Well we do come from different dimensions.” Sonic said. “Your right, but what else can the beetle do?” Doppler asked. “Well, it does have a message, let's see what it says.” Ava said. (She pushed on the beetle's head and it's wings opened up to reveal a small blue sphere. The sphere had opened up to reveal a tiny recorder. It began to play and there was a voice) “Bristol, Ava, I had heard about you in Neo Island, it's time to head back and give Anna to us where she will be safe.” The recorder said. (It ended and the wings and sphere had closed) “Who was that talking?” Billy asked. “It's the Leader, he's the one that created the Rebellion ten years ago.” Ava explained. “Ava, does this mean we must head to Mobijypt?” Bristol asked. “Yes, but it will be a problem with Dr. Doppler.” Ava said. “Is it because I'm a machine?” Doppler asked. “It is, but we have to find a way to get you and the other machines to safety.” Ava said. “Well, we might as well go to the captains cabin and discuss this whole thing.” Bristol said. “Yes, it's time we go figure out what to do.” Ava said. (She and Bristol had walked away. Rose jumped off the barrel and passed by the others and went into the gallery. Doppler had walked towards the gallery) “Poyo!” Kirby said. “Hey doc, where are you going?” Sonic asked. “I want to talk to Rose, her words about the past bother me a bit, but I want to help her.” Doppler said. “Well good luck with ye.” Billy said. (Doppler had entered into the gallery and Kirby followed.
Up above on the crows nest, Axl was looking around till Slasher had flew towards him and landed onto a mast) “Well hello Axl.” Slasher said. “Slasher, what were you doing flying around?” Axl asked. “It's my type of thing, that's why I was part of the Reploid Defense Squad.” Slasher said. “I know that, but do you know anything about Red Alert?” Axl asked. “No, I never knew anything that happened to you after that night, why did you ask?” Slasher asked. “Well, I just remembered what happened those years ago.” Axl said. “That's why I was looking for you, when I was flying towards this boat, I had flashbacks play in my mind about memories involving the two of us.” Slasher said. “Yeah, Limited Reploid or not, are we still friends?” Axl asked. “Maybe, but I'm still a Maverick, so maybe we should keep it to a minimum.” Slasher said. “Thanks, I worry for X in the state that he's in, I'll make sure that the Dictator pays for doing this.” Axl said. “You should also blame Tackione.” Someone said. (Slasher and Axl looked and found Zero on the other side of the mast with his long yellow ponytail blowing in the wind) “Zero, what were you doing up here without me noticing you?” Axl asked. “Wait, how did you meet with Tackione?” Slasher asked. “Well, many years ago, two months had passed after the fall of Doppletown, we got a distress signal coming from Central Point.” Zero explained. “Hey, what are you talking about?” Xover asked. (The three looked and saw Xover climbing up a rope ladder on the side of the boat till he stopped near the crows nest and looked up. When Xover got to the top, Slasher grabbed him and flew into the nest) “Zero was telling us how he and X met with Tackione.” Axl explained. “Oh, him, to be honest, I never knew who he was or his past.” Xover said. “Just let Zero continue, I want to know what happens next.” Slasher said. “Fine, me and X were sent to the location, but something was making us lose our energy, so we had to stay out of the city itself.” Zero said. “Did you two split up?” Axl asked. “Yes, while I was investigating, X had fought against some Limited Mavericks.” Zero said. “So what were you doing at this time?” Xover asked. “Both me and X were outside of the city looking around while fighting Mavericks, after X defeated Chill Penguin, I got contacted by X saying that he needed help, there was the noise of charge shots and it ended with X screaming.” Zero said. “Was X alright?” Axl asked. “Axl, we know X is alright because he was with us.” Xover said. “Yeah, but this all happened before I was built.” Axl said. “When I got to the scene, X was gone and all that was left was pieces of his X-Buster, I fused them with min and formed the Neo Buster.” Zero explained. “How were you able to do that, fuse the two busters into one?” Xover asked. “From what I can remember, during the first Limited Incident, a Limited Parasite from Wire Sponge's body had escaped and I had fired a charge shot at it.” Zero said. “It must had splattered all over X's buster just like my arm.” Axl said. “Yes, so with the new buster, I settled off to find X and the unidentified enemy, I met with the first Limited Maverick, Magna Centipede, with the Neo Buster, he was destroyed, but when I was looking around, I saw something, a Capsule.” Zero said. “Oh, so you downloaded it into your memory and gave it to X later on.” Xover said. “No, when I got closer, a hologram of an old man appeared, I remember the words, 'perhaps this also was fate, hmm, Zero.... I wish to grant you a new power... come, please, step inside', I went into the capsule and gained a new armor.” Zero said. “Wait, wait, wait, no, this is not possible, how can you get an armor from Dr. Light if he said that he cannot make an armor for you?” Xover asked. “Maybe it was the Neo Buster, but even to this day, I still don't know how I obtained the Energy Armor.” Zero said. “Oh, well, just continue, sorry.” Xover said. “After defeating Blast Hornet and Neon Tiger, I was in Central Point's power plant and fought against Spark Mandrill Limited, during the fighting, Mandrill had fired an Electric Spark which hit a generator and caused the plant to go critical and explode.” Zero said. “Ouch, that's got to hurt, how did you survive that explosion?” Axl asked. “The Energy Armor had absorbed the power from the power plant and formed the Neo Armor, after I gained this armor, three figures had appeared.” Zero said. “Was it Tackione, Luxione, Bloodione?” Xover asked. “Yes, how did you know of Bloodione and Luxione?” Zero asked. “Well, they're kinda servants to Master X along with Tackione, but he's the prime minister.” Xover said. “Really, I thought he looked like Doppler.” Axl said. “I thought of that myself, and when I asked him, he slapped me and told me to be quite.” Slasher said. “Well, how did the battle with the tree go?” Axl asked. “I fought against the two Order Breakers and destroyed them in one shot from the Neo Buster, I rushed to Tackione and found that he was in a small building, I entered inside and went through a long hallway.” Zero said. “What did Tackione do, did you find him?” Slasher asked. “Calm down, I entered into a rather big room and found Tackione, just like Light, I remember the words, 'after all, I only created those offshoots for amusement, I still have another disciple, the strongest one in fact', I noticed a figure behind Tackione and he moved away to reveal the 'strongest one'.” Zero said. “Another deadly Order Breaker, how powerful was he?” Axl asked. “It was....” Zero said. “Hey Zero, we're almost at Mobijypt, get down here with the rest of us!” Sonic yelled. “Who was it?” Axl asked. “I can't say, let's just get down.” Zero said. (He, Xover, and Axl jumped off while Slasher flew down to the others.
They found everyone going into the gallery while a goat member was on the wheel with Kirby holding onto the wheel) “Hey guys, glad that you could come on down.” Sonic said. “What is it about?” Slasher asked. “Well, we made it to Mobijypt and are heading to the docks, Shade, you know more about this place then us, right?” Sonic asked. “Yes, we were making a plan to get you out of harms way.” Shade said. “I do know of a place to go, but it's going to be risky for you all.” Anna said. “Why's that Anna?” Doppler asked. “Well, the reason was that your all machines and the only way out is in the desert.” Anna said. “I think I've got an idea, Ava, am I still wanted out here?” Rose asked. “Since this city has Rebellion H.Q, yes that will be a problem for you as well.” Ava said. “Great, and since there are slave trades here, I think I know what your going to say.” Bristol said. “Right, let's get this plan ready.” Sonic said. (They all began to discus as they were heading closer to Mobijypt.
The boat had hit the side and a plank was placed to get everyone off the boat. Sonic had walked down and an anthropomorphic elephant had walked up to him. On the boat, the Reploids were wearing brown cloaks and had ropes tied to their arms. Anna walked up to Zero) “I hope your alright with this.” Anna said. “Don't worry, as long as we follow the plan.” Zero said. “Okay, but here, (Anna got out a small book) take this, if you ever go to the pyramid, use it.” Anna said. (Zero grabbed it and managed to hide it in his cloak) “Thank you.” Zero said. “Hey slaves and friends, are we going?” Sonic yelled. “We're coming!” Anna said. (She, Rose, and the Reploids had walked down. Rose also had a cloak) “Well, who are the slaves?” The elephant asked. “None other then the cloaked ones except this one next to me, you see, I am tired of them and want to sell them to someone else.” Sonic said. “Very well, is that Anna, the wanted one alive?” The elephant asked. “Um, well, I.” Anna said. “Mille you listen to me young boy?” Rose asked. “Why yes, what do you want?” The elephant asked. (Sonic moved closer to Rose) “Do it.” Sonic whispered. (Rose raised her arms and vines had emerged and wrapped around the elephant which caught everyone's attention) “Oh my, that was Rose?” Anna asked. “Quick, get that general!” An animal yelled. (Rose had rushed towards a barrel and jumped onto it and then went into a roof) “Hey boys, are you going to be quicker then that?” Rose asked. “Get her!” The animals yelled. (Rose had jumped and all of the animals at the dock were gone. Sonic looked to the Reploids and got them loose) “Okay, while Return X get's the groups attention, you go on ahead!” Sonic yelled. (Zero, Axl, Xover, Slasher, and Doppler were running while Janet, Kirby, Knuckles, Solar, and Stevie went after them. Billy, the goat crew, and everyone else had moved the boat away from the dock and were sailing up the ocean with Whirlpool in the water swimming. Sonic, Anna, Bristol, Mille, and the three chao walked into the city while Ava chased after Rose.
Rose had made it to a market and saw that the group chasing her now had swords. The elephant had two swords and rushed towards Rose. Rose formed two swords and began to slash at the elephant. They slashed up, down, side to side, but it got more chaotic when two anthropomorphic monkeys had joined in and were slashing at Rose. Rose had kicked the three away and they rammed into the rest of the group. Rose had formed vines and they all wrapped around the group. Rose had turned away and was walking till an arrow had hit her back. She looked and saw an anthropomorphic male deer wearing a green cloak similar to Ava's) “A general to the Dictator here, your quite foolish to come, but I Stag will stop you.” Stag said. (He grabbed out a staff and merged the bow with it and jumped up. He fired three arrows and Rose had backed up and formed flowers while ripping the arrow out of her back. Stag had twisted his body and moved out of the way of the flowers and had fired more arrows at Rose. Rose had moved out of the way and threw leaves. Stag had moved his staff and had made every leaf fall to the ground. Rose had formed a venus flytrap and it nearly consumed Stag. He had hit staff get stuck in between the jaws and fired out five arrows. Stag jumped from the flytrap and grabbed onto an arrow and land on top of Rose and slashed at her face. Rose fell down and right when Stag was about to jab the arrow into Rose's chest, another arrow had hit the weapon Stag was holding. The two looked right and saw Ava) “Leave her alone Stag.” Ava said. “But she's an enemy to the Rebellion and the Forest Clan!” Stag said. “Yes, we know that, but I brought her here to be punished, leave her with me while you go patrolling.” Ava ordered. “Yes Miss Ava, let me just get my staff.” Stag said. (Rose moved her hand and made the flytrap let go of the staff and enter back into the ground. Stag grabbed it and then went over to the group who chased Rose earlier) “What, we have to let her go?” A person asked. “Yes, Ava is taking her to the Rebellion's Leader, go back to the place where you came from.” Stag said. “We won't forgive you for this Rose!” The elephant yelled. (They all walked away and Stag had jumped to the buildings and ran off. Ava reached her hand out for Rose and pulled her up) “Are you alright?” Ava asked. “Yeah, did I give Zero and the others enough time?” Rose asked. “Let's not ask that here, I'm sorry to say this, but we must go to the Rebellion's main base.” Ava said. “They'll interrogate me, won't they.” Rose said. “I do believe that will happen, but we'll try our best to help.” Ava said. (The two were walking towards a palace like structure in the distance.
Meanwhile, in the desert out of the city, Zero and the others were right in front of a yellow pyramid with an entrance and a hall of palm trees leading up to the entrance. They were walking towards it) “Um Zero, do you think this is a good place to stay in?” Axl asked. “I think so, besides, Anna told me about a pyramid here.” Zero said. “Well, let's get inside.” Solar said. (They went into the pyramid and found many stone statues of humans and other animals, mostly hedgehogs. It was dark with only fire from the walls were lighting up. There were three hallways with two in the left and right. There was another statue but was above the third and center door. It was in form of a hedgehog who was holding onto a Chaos Emerald and Dark Jewel) “Wow, look at that, aren't those the Chaos Emerald and Dark Jewel?” Knuckles asked. “It looks like it, but since when has Chaos Emeralds existed in this world?” Solar asked. “Poyo.” Kirby said. “Beat's me, but what should we do here?” Stevie asked. “My guess is to look around, maybe we might find either the Chaos Emerald or Dark Jewel here.” Slasher said. “Well, there is some Hieroglyphics on the doorways, I'll translate them the best I can.” Zero said. (He got out Anna's book and was flipping through the pages) “Hey Janet, have you read hieroglyphics before?” Solar asked. “Yes, but not much, I'll just let Zero figure this out.” Janet said. “Okay, the symbols on the right door say Path of the Tomb, the other on the left say Dimensional.” Zero said. “So should we split up?” Janet asked. “That's my guess, I'll go in the center one with Doppler while you go to the other paths.” Zero said. “Got it, if we find anything, we'll send one of us back.” Solar said. (He went with Axl, Slasher, and Knuckles while Janet left with Xover, Kirby, and Stevie) “Why did you choose me?” Doppler asked. “Well someone has to protect you.” Zero said. “I understand, so what does the middle path hold?” Doppler asked. “It says Heroes.” Zero said. (He began to walk off and Doppler ran after him.
In the Path of the Tomb, Janet, Xover, Kirby, and Stevie had walked through the long hallway) “So what do you believe is here?” Stevie asked. “I don't know, sniff.” Janet said. “Janet, are you alright?” Xover asked. “Maybe, it's just that we still haven't found Lighting.” Janet said. “I know Janet, but he'll be alright.” Xover said. “Poyo, poyo.” Kirby said. (He jumped up to Janet and hugged her) “Who's this Lighting fella?” Stevie asked. “He's my son, we were separated for a few days and reunited back in my dimension, but now, he's gone again.” Janet said. “I see, so you miss your son, I remember when I heard that I lost my parents, I was adopted by the turkeys and became who I am today.” Stevie said. “I know that's good, but what do you think is in the tomb?” Janet asked. “I don't know, hey Stevie, have you heard of the Warp of Confusion?” Xover asked. “Yes I do, I remembered hearing it from some guys in Tranquil Gulch.” Stevie said. “Why did you ask that?” Janet asked. “Well, while we were rescuing Doppler and Anna, we were sent to the Warp of Confusion, since you Stevie came from here, I was wondering if you knew.” Xover said. “Poyo!” Kirby yelled. (He jumped from Janet and ran off. They found Kirby near a door and it opened up to reveal a shaft with hooks having golden rings on them) “Look at all these rings, hey, I see some of that hieroglyphics on the door!” Stevie said. “Let me take a look, (Janet went to the door and read through the symbols) it says, 'one who has enough rings will enter into the Burial Chamber'.” Janet read. “Wait, how did you know of hireoglyphics?” Stevie said. “Well, when your a busness woman, you have to learn other languages.” Janet explained. “Poyo?” Kirby asked. “Well, let's get the rings and go down.” Xover said. “But are you sure that we can get enough, we don't even know what enough is!” Stevie said. “Don't worry, I'll get them.” Xover said. (He jumped down the shaft and was grabbing rings. There were walls that opened up and had sharp objects. Xover avoided them and continued to grab the rings. After grabbing one hundred rings, he looked down and noticed a bed of spikes. Right as he was expecting the worst, the spikes disappeared and Xover hit the ground. There was more spikes on the walls in the same colors as the rings. Xover carefully placed a single ring onto each spike till all hundred were on. The spikes and rings glowed brightly and opened up) “Xover, is everything alright down there?” Janet asked. “Yes, get down, I'll catch you!” Xover yelled. (Janet and Stevie jumped down and fell. Xover caught Janet while Stevie held onto Kirby who was holding his breath and they went into the Burial Chamber.
In the room, there were four walls decorated by hieroglyphics and there were many sarcophagus and sculptures of horses with their two feet up rearing. In the center was three golden statues of women with their arms up wearing robes and golden hats. They were surrounding a table with more hieroglyphics and a red base. On top of it was a sarcophagus made of gold with purple decorations in the shape of a fat man with a mustache) “Wow, look at all of this.” Janet said. “So much treasure, should we head back?” Stevie asked. “No, maybe there might be something in here that can help us.” Xover said. (They went into another room and found it filled with treasure. They were walking by hills of gold and many other treasures) “Maybe Pirateman and Bubble Crab would love this place.” Xover said. “Can you find anything involving what your looking for?” Stevie asked. “No, maybe Kirby can look, Kirby?” Janet asked. (They saw Kirby swimming in the gold with a challice. He ate it, but then spitted it out as it was filled with gold coins. Xover had gotten to Kirby and rubbed his belly) “Is the pink fella alright? Stevie asked. “Yes, maybe you two should go on ahead while I search through here.” Xover said. “But will you be alright with that?” Janet asked. “Don't worry, I'll be okay with Kirby. Xover said. (Janet and Stevie left the treasury and passed the sarcophagus and went up the hooks holding the rings to the door's entrance and were climbing up.
Meanwhile, Solar and the group had made it to a giant room with a few murals. One of them was an island in the sky) “Isn't that Angel Island, how is this in here?” Knuckles asked. “Beats me, but an island up above, sounds like it could mean something.” Slasher said. “Do you know what it says Solar?” Knuckles asked. “I'm trying to find out, but there are more murals.” Solar said. (They showed two hedgehogs with a fox and an echninda with a man) “Hey, those animals kinda look like me, Sonic, Tails, and Eggman, is it a coincidence?” Knuckles asked. “Well, there are more.” Slasher said. (He pointed to another mural showing the Master Emerald with the hedgehog on top of it with the Chaos Emeralds. The next image showed the hedgehog with a shiny white form and the Chaos Emeralds were gone. The group kept looking and found more connecting the story. The hedgehog had attacked the human who had a pink hedgehog. The hedgehog had glowed and then formed a dimension portal which sucked everyone in and consumed Angel Island itself. In the dimension portal, seven objects were made and then had exploded their energy) “Seven objects, were they created by the Chaos Emeralds Negative Energy?” Knuckles asked. “I've got it.” Solar said. “What does it say?” Slasher asked. “It says, the Dimensional Rift had occurred and caused destruction that we estimate will not end till a thousand years.” Solar read. “Dimensional Rift?” Knuckles asked. “Yes, and it says that the Cursed Gems had been sealed away for their power to rest before causing another rift.” Solar read. (He touched part of a wall and it opened up to reveal a small slot for a Dark Jewel) “What is that doing there?” Knuckles asked. “I don't know, but maybe there's something we could do, let me give it a try.” Axl said. (He got out the Dark Ruby and then placed it onto the pedestal and nothing happened) “Um, is this supposed to work?” Slasher asked. “I don't know.” Axl said. “Well, just take it off and let's get going.” Knuckles said. “Okay, (Axl grabbed onto the Dark Ruby) ugh, it's stuck, I can't get it, (The Dark Ruby began to glow and then was consuming Axl with a ruby crystallization) GAH!” Axl yelled. (Slasher and Knuckles were trying to pull Axl away, but his entire body became a ruby statue) “Axl, Axl, can you hear me?” Slasher asked. “He can't, he's nothing but a statue.” Knuckles said. “I'm trying to figure it out.” Solar said. (The three were left looking around. Unknown to them, the Dark Ruby in the murals were glowing faint.
Meanwhile, back at the city, Ava and Rose had made it to the palace where two guards were) “Ava, we saw Bristol come with Anna and a hedgehog.” A guard said. “That's great to hear, now let me and a member come in.” Ava said. “Yes thing Ava.” The other guard said. (They moved away for Ava and Rose to come in. They went through the doors and were going through a hall till they found Sonic and friends) “There you are.” Sonic said. (Rose moved down the hood and looked around) “Rose, do you believe the Reploids had escaped?” Anna asked. “I can't say, look around you, the Rebellion Members might be listening to us, in fact, where is everyone?” Rose asked. (A giant door began to open up and two guards came in) “Rose the Cat, what is she doing here?” The guards asked. “Well, I found her causing trouble with Stag and I brought her here.” Ava said. “You want to interrogate me and Anna?” Rose asked. “That's what we were hoping for, but how did you animals get these two?” The guard asked. “Well, we found them on Neo Island and got them there.” Sonic said. “So you were part of Ava's group?” The guard asked. “No, we got their first and tried to kill them, I sent them back so they wouldn't kill Anna by mistake.” Ava explained. “Anything about that machine named Doppler?” The guard asked. “Y, yes, I saw these people kill him in my very own eyes.” Anna said. “Perfect, now let's get you and Rose to a place where we can interrogate the both of you.” The guard said. (He grabbed Anna and Rose by the arms and dragged them down the hallway to another room. When the doors were shut, everyone had a sigh of relief) “Whew, that was close.” Sonic said. “No, we'd better talk somewhere else, they may be listening to us.” Mille said. “But where can we go?” Ava asked. “What are you talking about?” Someone asked.
(They looked and found Stag with his hood off revealing brown and light brown fur and yellow irises. He had antlers with a green leaf symbol on his forehead) “Stag, what brings you here?” Ava asked. “I was wondering what you were going to do with Rose after fighting her.” Stag said. “Well it's none of your business.” Bristol said. “Why should I not ask?” Stag asked. “Um Ava, who is this guy?” Sonic asked. “That's Stag, he's a high ranking leader of the Forest Clan, you see, we joined the Rebellion after the Chao Forest was destroyed.” Ava explained. “Chao Forest, what happened there?” Sonic asked. “You sound surprised, well, the placed burned down because of the Dictator's Forces and most chao are all dead, ready to face extinction.” Stag explained. “That's terrible, I hope Cream doesn't hear about this.” Sonic said. “So what do you have to report Stag?” Ava asked. “Well, nothing in the city except.” Stag said. “Except what, is there a riot in the desert?” Bristol asked. “No, when I was on a roof, I noticed a red glow coming from the desert and wanted to tell you about that.” Stag explained. “A red glow, wait, I feel something, (Mille closed her eyes and then saw the Dark Ruby with the crystallized Axl. She opened her eyes and looked towards Sonic) Sonic, we must head to the desert.” Mille said. “What, but why?” Sonic asked. “It's important that we go there.” Mille said. “Can I come?” Stag asked. “No, I know my way around.” Mille said. “Um yeah, I'll get Mille here to the light.” Sonic said. “We'll see you later.” Mille said. (Sonic grabbed Mille and they both rushed off away from the city. Stag was about to leave) “Where are you going?” Ava asked. “I'm going to patrol the city again.” Stag said. “Are you sure about that, the last time you said that made our cover get blown at a city.” Bristol said. “Don't worry, I'll just stay in the city.” Stag said. (He sprinted away and left the palace.
Meanwhile, in a different place of the palace, Rose and Anna were in seats waiting as the door behind them was closed. Rose had chains around her body) “I'm sorry for getting us into this mess.” Anna said. “It's alright, I've been through worse.” Rose said. “Like what?” Anna asked. “Well, how about forgetting who you are for about eight years, have visions of the past, and still don't remember all of it.” Rose said. “You used to be someone else?” Anna asked. “Yes, that's what I can remember, but nothing much except I'm not what you see me as.” Rose said. “So your not an organic cat?” Anna asked. “Nope, half of it.” Rose said. (They both hear the door open up behind them and two guards came in and another person came in. It was an old turtle with black irises, wrinkly skin, and the shell had many holes and dents which were covered by a red cape. He wore brown boots and had gray gloves with green rings. The turtle had walked to another seat and sat down as the guards went back outside) “So your Rose and Anna, I've been waiting for you.” The turtle said. “Yes, it's me, so why did you send that group to Neo Island?” Anna asked. “To look for you and to kill that dumb piece of machinery named Doppler.” The turtle explained. (Anna lowered her head down a bit and then looked at the turtle) “What if Doppler had any important information?” Anna asked. “It doesn't matter, and as for you Rose, why betray our kind, why join the dark forces of the Dictator's Empire?” The turtle asked. “It was against my will.” Rose explained. “That's it, your own will, not for power or for anything else, just your will.” The turtle said. “If I told you everything, you would've killed me very quickly.” Rose said. (The turtle got out a sword and was about to hurt Rose. Anna got from her seat and grabbed the sword and fought the turtle's force on the sword) “Listen, we were just telling the truth, if you would listen, then I'll tell you everything I know.” Anna said. (The turtle drew his sword and placed it into his shell and he sat down. Anna also sat, but was wiping the blood of her palms) “It would have sounded rude for you for me to tell you this late, but I'm Leader, the one who started the Rebellion.” Leader said. “Well Leader, I'm Anna, you see, I'm the leader of the Granite Arch, a group of archeologist who search for the hidden wonders of the world.” Anna said. “That I know, my son was with your group.” Leader said. “I knew him, but he died five years ago when I was captured and my group at Medieval Mobuis were killed.” Anna explained. “I was there, also I brought you to Neo Island, I still remember hearing the screams of your members.” Rose said. (Anna glared at Rose, but was then caught by Leader) “Anna, there is no time to be angry, now describe what else had happened.” Leader ordered. “Yes, I was ordered by Metal Android to search though the data of the Dark Parasites that me and my group had uncovered in a cave near Tranquil Gulch.” Anna explained. “What, how come your group wasn't turned into puppets?” Rose asked. “Oh, they weren't alive, they were fossils we found on the walls and the ground, but a month ago, I was in my room when I met with Dr. Doppler.” Anna said. “Don't talk about that traitor, he is a machine and will not be treated nicely, but at least he's dead.” Leader said. “I didn't mean to, but he was my only friend during this whole madness.” Anna said. (Leader slapped Anna and she began to cry) “We cannot make friends with machines young lady, if you weren’t so important, we would've killed you.” Leader said. “I'm sorry, but is there anything else you want to ask me?” Anna asked. “Yes, did you uncover anything about the Dictator or something else?” Leader asked. “Yes, but, (Anna got from her seat and pointed her finger at Leader) you better not call Doppler a piece of trash for the rest of this dumb war!” Anna yelled. “Children, fine, I'll stop calling that weather man trash.” Leader said. “That's better, (Anna sat back down) I learned about the location to the Dictator's Fortress.” Anna said. “How did you do it?” Rose asked. “Well, me and Doppler managed to hack into a computer and find the location.” Anna explained. “Give us the location now, we have had enough of this war and wish for it to end.” Leader said. “I know, but just give me some time, besides, I'm nervous.” Anna said. “About what, you have the voice and answers to end this ten year conflict and you simply reject to speak?” Leader asked. “Well, I.” Anna said. (Leader got out from his chair and slashed at Anna's cheek causing blood to fall. Anna fell to the ground and right as Leader was about to slash again, Rose broke from her bondage and kicked Leader's sword away and formed plants around it and they threw them at Rose. Rose caught it and pointed it at Leader) “Is this how you treat the only person alive with answers?” Rose asked. “She didn't speak a word about the location.” Leader explained. “A few hours ago, she just saw the death of her best friend.” Rose said. “Yes, it's true, I don't want to get hurt.” Anna said. “Mille you call your guards just by pointing this sword at you?” Rose asked. “Fine, but you will be under extreme supervision.” Leader said. (He grabbed a staff and then raised it up as guards came in and grabbed Anna and Rose and dragged them out of the room. They were both thrown into another room and the door was shut behind them) “Are you alright Anna?” Rose asked. “Yeah, I'm sorry that you had to go through this pain.” Anna said. “I'm alright with it, besides, I have more secrets then you think.” Rose said. (She formed a leaf and rubbed it onto Anna's cheek wiping the blood away) “Thank you, so how long will they keep us locked in here?” Anna asked. “Maybe as long as you don't say a word, I wonder how the Reploids are doing?” Rose asked. “I hope their alright, especially Doppler.” Anna said. “Don't say that, they might be listening to us.” Rose said. “Should I tell them where the Dictator's Fortress is?” Anna asked. “Yeah, but it would be best to find out to see if the Reploids are alright.” Rose said. “Okay, so what do you want to do?” Anna asked. “I don't know, but maybe I can try.” Rose said. “Try what?” Anna asked. (Rose went up to Anna) “Get my powers back.” Rose whispered. “Alright, good luck.” Anna said.
(Meanwhile, back at the pyramid, Zero and Doppler ran into a room from an empty hallway to a giant room. There were treasure, much gold, but the main thing was on the wall, a mosaic. The two walked towards it and saw it more closely. It was Zero, Sonic, and Shade against the Dictator who had a glowing sphere in the center with the colors of green and purple. Surrounding him are the seven Chaos Emeralds and seven other gems. In the Dictator's grasp was X and Return X. Zero looked and found a stone tablet. Zero then began to read through Anna's book. Doppler walked towards him) “Such an amazing piece of work, but how could the ancients predict this event?” Doppler asked. “I don't know myself, but I managed to translate a part of it.” Zero said. “Go on ahead, what does it mean?” Doppler asked. “Three heroes will meet in one place to stop the evil of the new time.” Zero read. “Three heroes, and in the mosaic, you, Sonic, and Shade, does that mean your the heroes?” Doppler asked. (He looked at Zero who continued to look through the old hieroglyphics) “I guess he didn't listen to me.” Doppler thought. “The evil of one's heart will create one who will destroy, while the pure will become the servant of darkness.” Zero read. “What does that even mean?” Doppler asked. “It must represent both X and Return X, but that's impossible, how could Return X be the one to cause all of this?” Zero asked. “Look at that sphere, it's inside of the Dictator, but it looks like it doesn't fit, is there any mention of it other then that text?” Doppler asked. “I'll see.” Zero said. (He looked and found nothing) “Shoot, no mention of the sphere, (Zero looked up) wait, that person, can it be?” Zero thought. “Look up!” Zero yelled. (Doppler looked at the mosaic and saw Xover with seven more objects) “That's one of your friends.” Doppler said. “Xover, what's he doing in this?” Zero thought. (He looked again at the tablet and saw more) “A hero from the future will appear and prevent the dark future.” Zero read. “Does that mean Xover is from the future?” Doppler asked. “Yes, even farther then our own time.” Zero explained. “So what does this all mean?” Doppler asked. “I'd wish I knew.” Zero said. (They continued to look at the mosaic)
“Zero, Doppler!” Someone yelled. (The two turned around and saw Sonic with Mille on his back) “Sonic, Mille, what are you two doing here?” Zero asked. “We came because of a red glow coming from the desert.” Sonic explained. “Yes, that light, we must head back.” Mille said. “What, but you told me that this was the right way!” Sonic said. “I lied because I knew we needed more help.” Mille explained. “Wow, really Mille, ugh, never mind, let's get going to the right way.” Sonic said. “Wait, what's going on?” Doppler asked. “You'll find out when we get there.” Mille said. (She ran off and Sonic grabbed Zero by the ponytail and Doppler by the labcoat and ran after her) “Hey, not my hair, grab something else!” Zero yelled. “I can't grab something else at this speed, just hang on!” Sonic yelled. (He boosted and they quickly made it to the beginning with the three paths. They found Mille with Janet and Stevie) “Sonic, well that was quick.” Stevie said. “Yeah, but Mille, what's going on?” Janet asked. “We must head to the hallway left of us.” Mille said. “Okay, let's get going.” Zero said. (Mille pushed against Zero's chest) “I'm sorry Zero, but you have to stay behind.” Mille said. “What, but why me?” Zero asked. “You have the Dark Jewels and Chaos Emeralds.” Mille said. “How does that affect the situation at hand?” Zero asked. “All of it is connected, if you want to come, leave the Dark Jewels with someone else, we have to guard them.” Mille said. “I will, is that alright with you Zero?” Janet asked. “But will you be alright?” Zero asked. “It's okay, just help our friends.” Janet said. “Understood.” Zero said. (He gave Janet the six objects and the group ran off. Stevie stayed with Janet) “Stevie, why are you staying with me?” Janet asked. “I know how it feels with your who thing, I want to help you.” Stevie said. “Thank you, hey, I think I hear someone, let's look outside.” Janet said. (They both looked outside.
They found Amy and Crescent walking towards the place. Janet went out and hugged Amy) “There you two are, I was wondering where you were.” Janet said. “Janet, your alright, we were lucky, right Crescent, Crescent?” Amy asked. (Crescent was looking to the sun and noticed thick gray clouds were forming. When the sun was consumed, snow began to fall) “What the, it's snowing, how come?” Janet asked. (Stevie went out and noticed the snow) “What is this stuff and why is it falling, nothing like this ever happens here.” Stevie said. “I know why, get your weapons ready.” Crescent said. “Stevie, get back inside and protect the gems!” Stevie ordered. “Yes ma’am!” Stevie said. (She ran back inside as a giant ice cube fell and then melted into a wave of snowflakes to reveal Ice Soul) “Well brother, it's been a long time since we've seen each other.” Ice Soul said. “Give it up Ice Soul, I know that your using my sister's body, leave her alone!” Crescent yelled. “Are you sure you can save me from our fate, give it all you've got.” Ice Soul said. (She had formed ice particles around herself.
Amy had gotten her hammer and ran towards Ice Soul and was trying to slam her hammer into her. The thin sheets of ice were being broken and were melting into water and becoming mud. Ice Soul grabbed Amy's hammer and froze it. She slammed it into Amy and she hit the sand. Ice Soul was about to unleash the ice from her back but was then hit with a stream of mud. Crescent had mud surround his hands and he threw mud balls at Ice Soul. Ice Soul had rushed towards Crescent while leaving a trail of ice. She formed a thick ice sword from the snowflake points and was trying to slash at Crescent. He kept forming a shield of mud but was then attacked by a wave of ice hitting his back. The mud shield disappeared and then left Crescent injured and Ice Soul just slashed at Crescent leaving cut marks. Crescent fell to the sand and was about to get hit again. Janet then rammed into Ice Soul and had electricity on her hands and she was electrocuting her. Crescent got back up and was dragged away by Amy. Ice Soul had tried to shake Janet off, but she held on tight and gave another discharge. When she stopped, Amy grabbed her ice infused hammer and then slammed it into Ice Soul. Ice Soul had then formed a winter storm and blinded everyone and caused them to be consumed in ice. Ice Soul then entered into the pyramid and noticed Stevie and fired an icicle. Stevie ducked and fired three bullets from her pistol but Ice Soul had dodged them with the icicle parts on her back moving like a clock. She had grabbed Stevie and froze almost all of her body but her arms and head. Ice Soul grabbed Stevie and headed towards the red light where the others were.
Meanwhile, Sonic and friends were still running towards the end of the hallway. They noticed rubies forming on the ground like spikes and were giving a red light. When the group made it to the end of the hallway, they found Solar, Slasher, and Knuckles with a giant ruby in the center of the giant room. There were more formations of rubies all around and were all over the place) “Knuckles, Solar, is everything alright?” Sonic asked. “No, we don't know what's going on, Axl placed the Dark Ruby onto a pedestal and is now up there!” Solar said. (He pointed to the giant ruby in the center of the room) “Axl, is he inside of it?” Zero asked. “I know of it, but at least the Dark Jewels aren't in this room.” Mille said. “What will happen if we do?” Doppler asked. “I hope we'll never find out.” Zero said. (They hear the sound of Stevie yelling and look at the hallway. Ice Soul rushed in with Stevie and stopped) “Ice Soul, let go of Stevie right now!” Solar yelled. “I can't do that just yet, what is going on in here?” Ice Soul asked. “Give me, the Dark Jewels, creations from the Dimensional Rift.” Someone said. (The giant ruby had glowed bright and then shattered revealing Axl now looking like he's made of ruby and the Dark Ruby was inside of him) “Axl, are you alright?” Zero asked. “The Dark Jewels, give them to me now.” Axl said. (He pointed to Ice Soul and Stevie and Mille got in front of the two) “No, we refuse to listen to you.” Mille said. “So you wish to stop me, I feel this power and need more.” Axl said. “I will never give you the chance, Axl, come to your senses, don't do this again!” Mille said. “You will be punished.” Axl said. (He raised his arm and then a bolt of lighting went down and hit Mille, turning her to a ruby statue. Ice Soul let go of Stevie and rushed towards Axl. Axl formed a shield made of Red Aura and Ice Soul slashed at it trying to get a hit. The gem on Axl's helmet glowed and then, Ice Soul was consumed in the Red Aura and was flung towards Zero. Zero jumped out of the way and grabbed Stevie and got on top of a statue. Axl walked up to the two while the ground was turning to ruby with every step Axl took) “Axl, don't hurt Mille, remember what happened before?” Zero asked. “She will only get in the way of things, do you want me to hurt you?” Axl asked. “Axl, please control yourself, this isn't how you acted on the boat!” Stevie said. (Solar ran up to Axl and slashed at his back and jumped away as Sonic spin dashed at him. Axl fell to the ground and Ice Soul had formed a thick sheet of ice on top of him. Zero got Stevie to Doppler) “Doppler, get Stevie out of this room before Axl recovers.” Zero ordered. “Yes, come now Stevie.” Doppler said. (As the two were leaving, Axl broke through the ice and then grabbed everyone in Red Aura and fired lasers at them from his hands. Stevie had then dropped the Dark Jewels and Axl rushed towards them. Time had then stopped and a charge shot had been fired and hit Axl in the chest. Xover dashed in with Kirby and was slashing Axl with the O1-Saber. Time had then resumed and everyone fell. Axl fired lasers from his eyes and hit Xover. Axl grabbed Xover in Red Aura and then got slashed in the back by snowflakes from Ice Soul. Solar had threw fireballs while Zero had slashed at Axl. Stevie had gotten her gun and fired bullets at Axl while holding him in her lasso. Doppler had grabbed the Dark Jewels and went over to Mille. The Dark Diamond began to act up and then was absorbed into Mille. The ruby glowed white and then shattered to reveal Mille now made of diamond and fired White Aura from her hands. Everyone moved out of the way as Axl got hit and Ice Soul had fired a beam of ice and fired the spikes and they rammed into Axl. Axl had unleashed Red Aura beams from his hands and eyes. Mille and Ice Soul had continued to fire their energy and the Dark Jewels had appeared floating above both Mille and Axl. The mosaics on the walls began to glow on the parts with the Dark Jewels and the rubies on the floor began to turn to amethyst and then in the center, a purple gem began to appear. The gem had then fired three lasers at Axl, Mille, and Ice Soul. The energy died down and the three turned into statues. Crescent, Amy, and Janet rushed in and found the three as amethyst statues with the Dark Jewels on the floor. The Dark Amethyst had began to float above the other six and formed a circle) “We did it, but what happened exactly?” Sonic asked. “I don't know, but we have to help our friends!” Amy said. (The three hedgehogs rushed to the amethyst statues and they began to crack open.
They revealed Axl and Mille who were now back to normal and Ice Soul was now a light blue and white female hedgehog. There were three quills on the back of her head and two of them were rounded spikes and the middle one was like a triangle, but more longer reaching to the legs. She had hair and two bangs with white tips. She had a white muzzle, separated eyes, inside of ears being white, halfway on the arms and legs (Elbows and knees) is white fur. She wore a purple long sleeved shirt, both a blue vest and skirt, purple boots with a white cuff and bottom side with a red heart, and a golden necklace with a amethyst oval. Her eyes were closed as an icy white Dark Parasite had jumped out from the statue's opening and Crescent grabbed it and threw it to Solar which he slashed to pieces. Crescent kneed down and touched the hedgehog's cheek) “Polar, can you hear me?” Crescent asked. (Polar began to open her eyes to reveal red which soon became tan colored irises) “Crescent, (Polar got up and looked around) where am I, and what happened?” Polar asked. (Crescent got up and moved Polar away from the amethyst statue's remains) “We saved you from Ice Soul, your free.” Crescent said. “Really, I thought I was having a bad dream, but it's all over thanks to you.” Polar said. (She hugged Crescent and the two began to cry) “Are you alright Crescent?” Amy asked. “Yes, thank you, this is what I wanted, the Element Souls are no more, they have returned back to their dimension.” Crescent said. “So the Dark Amethyst was here all this time, but how did it get summoned?” Solar asked. “I don't know, but is everyone alright?” Knuckles asked. “Yeah, I'm just happy that your with your sister again.” Amy said. “Hey, the rubies are melting.” Janet said. (They all looked around and found the rubies to melt and disappear. Zero and Slasher went up to Axl who began to wake up) “Ugh, Zero, Slasher?” Axl asked. “Axl, thank goodness your alright.” Slasher said. “Really, I just felt weird when the Dark Ruby was absorbed into my body, Zero, what are you looking at?” Axl asked. (Zero was watching as Crescent and Polar were hugging) “This reminds me of X, will that ever happen again?” Zero asked. (Axl got up) “Hey, don't worry, who's the girl?” Axl asked. “Polar, we meet again.” Solar said. “Solar, (Polar let go of Crescent and hugged Solar) it's been a long time, hasn't it?” Polar asked. (She moved away and smiled) “Yes it has, but I guess there's nothing else left but to get the Dark Amethyst and get back to the city.” Solar said. “Yeah, but what will we do, I wasn't able to find Billy's Ship after it left, so where can we go from here?” Sonic asked. “We head to the palace.” Mille said. “But are you sure about that Mille?” Sonic asked. “Yes, I can hear it now, but be careful when getting the Dark Jewel.” Mille said. (Polar went up to it and touched it. She felt power, but backed away and Mille had grabbed it) “Ouch, what was that?” Polar asked. “The Dark Amethyst tried to connect your power with it.” Mille explained “So what happened to me with the Dark Ruby?” Axl asked. “I'll explain that later, for now, we must head back to the city.” Mille said. (She walked away and everyone began to follow.
After a long time, they had made it back to the city. They found guards, but they had escorted them to the palace. When they got inside, they found Rose and Anna with Ava and Bristol) “Sonic, you guys are alright!” Anna said. “I'm kinda glad that you've made it back here Zero.” Rose said. “Strange, why didn't the guards attack us?” Slasher asked. “Well, we kinda convinced them to bring you along.” Anna said. “On one condition though.” Leader said. (He came walking in) “And what's that?” Knuckles asked. “I'm going on foot by myself.” Rose said. “What, were you kicked out?” Sonic asked. “Well, I'm more wanted then you guys, so I guess it makes sense.” Rose said. “Can I come with you?” Polar asked. “Polar, but you've just met with her.” Crescent said. “I know, but I want to be strong, and besides, it isn't fair when one doesn't get to go with others.” Polar said. “She's right, and I'm going too.” Doppler said. “But Doppler, will you be alright without us?” Zero asked. “Yes, I don't need to be guarded all the time, I can still raise my fist and fight.” Doppler said. “Since your going, I'm going too.” Crescent said. “Um, thanks for asking to follow me.” Rose said. “You sound surprised, is something wrong?” Polar asked. “No, I'm okay, so are we ready to follow the plan?” Rose asked. “Plan, what are you talking about?” Slasher asked. “You see, while you were gone, I told Leader about the location of the Dictator's Fortress and asked him to make sure that our friends get here safely.” Anna explained. “It wasn't easy, but I gave up, I have prepared my troops for the battle, Bristol, are you ready?” Leader asked. “Yes, we shall end this horrible war.” Bristol said. “But how can we get there, we couldn't find Billy nor everyone else.” Sonic said. “Don't worry, we have our own battleships, let's get ready.” Leader said. (He walked towards the entrance of the palace and everyone was heading to the dock.
When they were near the docks, they found Billy's ship. Billy and Whirlpool were standing among with many soldiers and other ships) “Billy, there you are, where were you?” Sonic asked. “Well, we accidentally didn't know when to come back, when we almost exited out of continent, an arrow had hit a post and told us to come back.” Billy explained. “An arrow, it must be Stag, is he anywhere on your boat?” Ava asked. “Nope, I'm right here Ava.” Stag said. (Ava looked behind and saw Stag eating an apple) “Well, I do have to thank you for stopping that pirate from leaving without us.” Ava said. “Your welcome, so are we ready to go?” Stag asked. “Yeah, we just have to get going.” Rose said. “Well, good luck you guys, I hope a safe trip.” Sonic said. “Don't worry, I know my way, and besides, we'll get there.” Rose said. “Wait, where is she going?” Stag asked. “We're going a different way to the Dictator's Fortress.” Doppler explained. “Well, maybe I can join along with you.” Stag said. “More company, but wouldn't you be better with Ava?” Rose asked. “I know, but it would be cool to see you fight.” Stag said. “Alright, well, we're off.” Rose said. (She, Doppler, Polar, Crescent, and Stag had walked away and everyone waved goodbye. Sonic and his friends along with Leader get into Billy's boat and then the Goat Crew had unleashed the sails and they had set sail for the next destination.
After a while, the five continue to walk through the desert) “Well, Sonic and the others must be off right now heading towards the next continent.” Rose said. “So how are we going to pass onto the next continent?” Stag asked. “Well, I have the telekinetic ability to manipulate water, and my sister has the power of ice.” Crescent explained. “Oh I see, what weird abilities you all possess.” Stag said. “Well, we've made it far enough that we can't see the city, I just hope that we don't get attacked.” Polar said. “Don't worry, most bandits only attack in the city, so there's nothing to fear.” Stag said. “My powers seem to be coming back, but my eyes, their still the same, I wonder if my Limited powers are gone?” Rose thought. (They continued to walk through the long place until dark electricity had hit both Rose and Crescent, knocking them both out and were on the ground surrounded by the electricity. Doppler, Polar, and Stag noticed this and saw X with many humanoid Mechanaloids) “X, what are you doing?” Doppler asked. “Master Dictator ordered me to recapture you and let Tackione deal with you.” X said. “This doesn't look good, but we can fight!” Stag said. “I don't want my guards to kill you yet, I'll just do this.” X said. (He threw his scythe and then it hit the ground almost hitting Polar. It then unleashed more electricity and injured the remaining three. Polar and Stag passed out as Doppler barley stood) “Tackione, he'll soon pay for this.” Doppler said. (X walked up to Doppler and swiftly kicked Doppler by the back and he screamed in pain and passed out. X then looked at his troops) “It's time to take them to Rylad.” X ordered. (The Mavericks went closer to the five and they were all gone) Oh no! X has now has kidnapped our heroes. Mille Sonic and friends find out about this before it's too late? Where is Rylad and what is it? Find out in the Final Act!

Meanwhile, Sonic and friends were on Billy's Boat which was being followed by the massive amounts of Rebellion Battleships. Anna was with Billy as it was now nighttime. “Well Billy, it's quite a nice night, isn't it.” Anna said. “Sure is indeed Anna, but why did you come along?” Billy asked. “Well, I want the Dictator to pay after what he made that X do.” Anna said. “Yeah, X is one of my best friends, (The two noticed Axl walking up the stairs) I still don't understand this whole thing.” Axl said. “What parts are you talking about?” Anna asked. “Well, where did this whole Dark Crystal thing originate from?” Axl asked. “Well, just after my capture, I had told them about the Dark Crystal, but I knew it was a myth the ancients believed, why did you ask that?” Anna asked. “The Dark Crystal was inside of X and now, it's made X become a Maverick, Mille knew about this and thought that it was real.” Axl explained. “Strange, why would she believe that, the whole thing was revealed to be a fake many years ago?” Anna asked. “Maybe we should ask about another thing, besides, we now have the Dark Amethyst with us.” Axl said. “So we now have all seven, I thank you for helping them collect what I had done for almost all of my life, searching through the places and finding the Dark Jewels for the first time.” Anna said. “Um, what did you do before this war?” Axl asked. “I'm an archeologist, I first found the Dark Jewels when I was nine and kept them with me.” Anna explained. “You found all seven gems by yourself?” Axl asked. “Yes, I was just digging through the ground outside of the valley where I lived.” Anna explained. “Well, that explains a lot.” Axl said. “I worry about Doppler, he was the only other friend I was able to make and now he's out with Rose.” Anna said. “Don't worry, I've heard from X saying that Doppler packed quite a punch when he was fighting with him.” Axl said. “Well, I think I'll be okay with that, have you seen Zero?” Anna asked. “Oh, I think he's in the gallery with the others.” Axl said. “Well, thank you, I'll go see him.” Anna said. (She walked away and went towards the gallery) “I wonder why Anna wants to talk to Zero.” Axl said. “Well, you can go down there and talk with him!” Billy said. “Yeah, I'll just do that.” Axl said. (He went after Anna) “Machines, never got their whole function.” Billy said. (He laughed and the Goat Crew looked at him.
With Anna, she was going down the steps till she noticed a shadow and turned around. It was Axl) “Axl, I thought you were with Billy.” Anna said. “I know, but hey, I want to see why you needed to talk to Zero.” Axl said. “It's nothing important.” Anna said. “Well, let's just go see him together.” Axl said. “Fine, just don't cause any trouble.” Anna said. (They both went down the stairs and found everyone including Zero asleep, the two noticed an orange light and went up to it. They found Xover writing on a piece of paper with a lantern next to him) “Xover, what are you doing?” Axl asked. (Xover turned around) “Axl, Anna, I thought you would be upstairs.” Xover said. “Yeah, but we came to see Zero, so what are you doing up so late?” Axl asked. “Well, if you really want to know, I'm leaving.” Xover explained. “What, but why?” Anna asked. “You see, I failed his Plans, if I had followed them more closely, then X wouldn't be in this mess and Ivory would've still been alive, I've caused you nothing but trouble.” Xover said. “Xover, you didn't do anything wrong, your our friend.” Axl said. “No, all I did was make you and everyone else grief.” Xover said. “Hey, that's not true, you followed us throughout dimensions and no one caused pain, remember Zero's story, he's suffered not because of you.” Axl explained. “But we never got to the end of it, so how do you know the end of that?” Xover asked. “That's what I believed, X got into this situation before.” Axl said. “So what does that mean?” Xover asked. “Do you remember if Zero can do it ounce, we all can do it again.” Axl said. “Maybe your right, sorry that I wanted to jump ship.” Xover said. “It's alright, besides, I did the same thing, but it was for the better.” Axl said. (He hugged Xover and Anna smiled. Xover grabbed the piece of paper and tore it to pieces) “Just promise me that you don't tell the others about this.” Xover said. “We promise.” Axl said. “Well, we should get our rest, the big day is almost coming.” Anna said. “Don't worry Anna, I've been through war before, so there's nothing to fear.” Axl said. “Yes, but I do hope Doppler and the others can get to our location.” Anna said. “Just relax, I'm sure that they will get here.” Xover said. (Anna lied onto a crate and grabbed some covers from a nearby crate and slept with everyone. Axl fell down and began to sleep as well. Billy had came in) “Well, well, well, what a bunch of tired potatoes.” Billy said. “What does that mean?” Xover asked. “It's my saying of sleeping ones.” Billy explained. “Alright, but what are you doing down here?” Xover asked. “Well, I need my rest, as the Goat Crew had gotten it while going through the water while you were in the city.” Billy explained. “I might need my rest too, goodnight.” Xover said. “Also, I wanted to check on you all.” Billy said. (He went out of the gallery and into the Captains Quarters. Xover had went to sleep on the ground and heard the noises of the ocean soothing him.
Meanwhile, in a different place, Stag began to wake up inside of a prison cell. He noticed Polar and went up to her) “Polar, are you alright, wake up.” Stag said. (Polar began to open her eyes) “Yes, hey, where are we?” Polar asked. “I was hearing the guards saying Rylad.” Rouge said. (Stag and Polar looked to find Shadow and Rouge sitting on a bench) “Who are you two?” Polar asked. “I'm Shadow and this is Rouge.” Shadow introduced. “Hey, it may bother you a bit, but did you meet with a blue hedgehog wearing red shoes named Sonic?” Rouge asked. “Yes, we've been with him for a small time though, but where are the others?” Polar asked. “Others, we just saw the guards drag you in here.” Shadow explained. “I hope that Crescent, Rose, and Doppler are alright.” Polar said. “I hope so too Polar.” Stag said. “What did I just say, I care for a machine?” Stag thought. “Well, we can't just stand here, let's get out.” Polar said. “It's very hard for someone to get out of Rylad alive, but I think we can do it.” Stag said. “Right, there's an air duct up there.” Rouge said. (She flew up and grabbed the covering to an air duct and got it out) “How long have you been in here?” Stag asked. “A while.” Shadow said. “Then why couldn't you escape?” Stag asked. “We heard that there would be more prisoners here.” Shadow explained. “Who told you that?” Polar asked. “A guy who had a green glass dome on his head.” Shadow explained. “I see.” Stag said. “Hey you guys, I'm up here!” Rouge said. (The three looked up and saw Rouge) “So you want us to get up there?” Polar asked. “Yes, I'm going to blow the door down so you need some protection.” Shadow explained. “Alright, Rouge, get us up there.” Stag ordered. (Rouge went down and picked up Stag and then Polar. When the three were in the small air duct, Shadow had then glowed red and then yelled out Chaos Blast and there was an explosion. After the smoke had cleared up, the three got out from the duct and found Shadow near the entrance of the cell door) “Are we ready to get out?” Shadow asked. “Yes, now let's hurry!” Stag said. (The five ran out and noticed that guards were running towards them. Polar had frozen the ground and then skates made of ice appeared on the soles of her boots. Rouge had threw bombs while Stag was slipping on the ice. Shadow had fired Chaos Spears. They noticed a door and Polar froze it while Stag had kicked it open.
Inside, they found themselves in a giant room with no other things, except that it was a long hallway. They went through it into a big room. The door behind them had slammed shut and they heard a noise. They went towards it and saw Return X fighting giant Dark Parasites, but these ones were different, they had mutated faces of half parasite and an anthropomorphic animal. There skin was a deep shade of magenta and they were spitting acid. There was a cage up above with Doppler, Cream, and Crescent in there. The group rushed towards Return X and began to fight. Stag stayed behind and then looked up, he noticed an air vent and then gotten out his Rebellion Beetle and recorded a message and it flew away towards Sonic's location and the group continued to fight.
Meanwhile, back with Sonic and the Rebellion's ships. Sonic, Axl, Solar, and Mille were watching the ocean's waves at dusk. The moon was shining and the sea was calm) “Hey Mille.” Sonic said. “What is it Sonic?” Mille asked. “I was thinking about our friends.” Sonic said. “What about them?” Mille asked. “You see, we've met with a lot of hedgehogs, I wonder why there's not much of a variety?” Sonic asked. “Well, blame the Author, she's into those things, (Axl laughed and then Zero jumped down and kicked him) ow.” Axl said. “There's nothing wrong with that.” Zero said. “Um, what are you doing?” Solar asked. “Oh, Axl just being a goofball, well, I was just thinking about what happened before we left the city in Mobijypt, Axl, what did happen to you?” Zero asked. (Mille had revealed the seven Dark Jewels and six Chaos Emeralds) “The two sets of gems, ancients in the past, no one knows of the Chaos Emeralds existence in this dimension, but I do know of the Dark Jewels.” Mille said. “How do you know about those cursed objects?” Leader asked. “Um, I was told about them from my great grandmother.” Mille explained. “I see, so she has lived long, at least she doesn't have to suffer like the rest of us.” Leader said. “We're not suffering, look, at this time right now, it's peaceful, there's nothing wrong happening.” Sonic said. “Is that so, I still can't stand those two machines on this boat.” Leader said. “What's wrong with us Maverick Hunters, sure we made friends with that clone of X, but still, oh and Zero.” Axl said. “Yes Axl?” Zero asked. “I want to get a D-Arts Zero Type 2.” Axl said. (He began to walk off and Zero ignighted his Z-Saber and went after him. Axl was running) “How dare you say that your going to get a toy of me and take care of it more then your best friend!” Zero yelled. (Axl then jumped off Billy's Boat and then landed onto another battle ship.
Zero jumped down and almost hit Axl. Axl was running and passed by many of the Rebellion Members who were dogs, turtles, snakes, more goats, and elephants. Zero kept slashing wildly. The crew were getting out of the way as Zero kept slashing. Axl jumped onto another boat and more crew members were watching. They then ducked as Axl was firing energy pellets and Zero only slashed through while yelling. Axl made it back to Billy's Boat and began to climb up the rope ladder while Zero was also climbing up with his Z-Saber in his mouth still activated. Axl made it to the top and jumped with Zero in the air as well. Right when Zero was about to slash at Axl, Slasher had flown and placed the cuffs onto Zero and grabbed Axl. Zero was paralyzed and he hit the wooden planks of the ship and Slasher landed with Axl) “Quite nice bondage, don't you think?” Slasher asked. “Slasher, take this off right now!” Zero yelled. “Well, since you used them on me, I guess it's good payback, are you alright Axl?” Slasher asked. “Yeah, sorry that I made you mad, you injured me after I made a joke about how there are so many hedgehogs with us.” Axl said. “Oh, you just had to say D-Arts to me.” Zero said. “D-Arts, what are you talking about?” Slasher asked. “You'll find out someday.” Axl said. (Many crew members had appeared and grabbed Zero and lifted him up) “Hey, what's the idea?” Slasher asked. “Stand back, this one tried to kill us.” A crew member said. (Zero began to struggle to get away) “Let me go!” Zero yelled. “Hey, I was just having fun.” Axl said. (Zero was taken to another boat. Slasher and Axl just watched as Sonic and friends went up to them) “Slasher, what's going on, where's Zero?” Sonic asked. “He was taken, Zero has the cuffs on and I don't know what their going to do with him.” Slasher said. “Don't panic.” Leader said. “Why, you hate machines.” Axl said. “He's just going to be under heavy watch.” Leader explained. “I hope your telling the truth.” Axl said. “I am, now where is Ava and Bristol?” Leader asked. “Leader, we found a Rebellion Beetle!” Ava yelled. (She and Bristol had ran towards them with the golden beetle) “What's one doing here?” Solar asked. “There's a message, let's see what it is.” Bristol said. (He began to play the recording on the beetle. It had Stag's voice with other characters and Doppler yelling) “Ava, Bristol, we are being held in Rylad, we need you to save us!” Stag yelled. (The recording stopped and the beetle closed it's wings, Ava then gave it to Leader and looked to the continent near the boats) “We must get off and head to Rylad.” Ava said. “What, I didn't know that Rylad would be so close.” Leader said. “That doesn't matter, Bristol, your coming with me.” Ava said. “Wait, if Stag is in trouble, maybe Return X and Doppler are as well!” Axl said. “Very well young boy, but it's just the three of us.” Bristol said. “It doesn't matter how many we have, Stag and the others need rescuing.” Ava said. (They then went to Billy) “Ah Ava, what do you and the boys need?” Billy asked. “Listen Billy, we need to get close to the continent, don't worry, we know where to go from here.” Ava said. “Very well, just hang on!” Billy yelled. (He moved the wheel right and the boat made it closer to the land. Ava, Bristol, and Axl made it to the land and began to run. Amy and Janet come out of the boat's gallery) “Is everything alright?” Amy asked. “I don't know, Return X and the others are in danger.” Sonic explained. “I hope that everything's alright with them.” Amy said.
(Meanwhile, after quite a while, the three made it to a giant prison in the form of a castle. It was floating near a cliff with a drawbridge) “There it is, Rylad.” Ava said. “Such an evil place, I wonder how they got sent here.” Bristol said. “Maybe they were ambushed in the desert.” Axl said. “That's impossible, but still, we must rescue our friends.” Ava said. “But how can we get in there without being seen?” Bristol asked. “Don't worry, I think I know what to do, you all have grapple hooks, right?” Axl asked. “Well, only one, but I know what your talking about.” Ava said. (The three ran through the bushes and made it to an open window, Ava had fired an arrow with rope and then it hit the opening of the window and got stuck to the window's ledge. Ava and Bristol climbed up the rope while Axl was wall jumping. They made it inside of the place and noticed many imprisoned animals begging for help) “Whoa, so many trapped, let's help them out!” Axl said. “Yes, Ava, you find the others while we help the prisoners.” Bristol said. “Yes, I know you two can do it.” Ava said. (She ran deeper into the prison while Axl and Bristol were freeing the animals.
Ava was moving as fast as she could with her bow and arrow. She fired some arrows at guards and made them fall revealing their machine parts. Ava kept moving quickly and made it down the five sets of stairs. She made it to an empty room and walked inside. The door behind her had closed and then the floor beneath her had opened up and Ava fell. She landed into water and then popped her head out as she was gasping for air. She then heard a noise and looked at Stag's Rebellion Beetle. The gem was glowing) “Stag must be nearby.” Ava thought. (She swam towards an edge and got out. Upon getting out, she landed into a bed of skeletons. She jumped a bit upon seeing the dead remains. Ava had continued to run trying to get away while dripping the liquid. She then began to hear an explosion and went towards it. There was a sealed door and Ava heard the noise of the guards coming closer. She looked up and found an open air vent. An arrow had hit the ceiling of the vent and Ava climbed up. When making it to the vent, Ava had gotten the rope and went through. She noticed some light while climbing through the vent and then Ava looked. She found a gray cage and then accidentally fell on top of it. She looked around and found the thick cable holding it. She then heard the yells of Stag and then began to cut the cable with her arrow. The cage then fell and everyone moved out of the way as it landed onto three mutated creatures. Ava then jumped off and went to Stag) “Ava, so you got my message, thanks for letting them down.” Stag said. “What's going on, how did you get here?” Ava asked. “No time for talking we have to stop these things from killing us!” Return X yelled. (He fired a charge shot and it went through a creature as it almost jumped at him. Ava had fired arrows while Polar had frozen the floor and was skating around. Rouge had flew towards the cage and was picking on the lock while Shadow was guarding Rouge. It then opened up and the three got out. Cream was jumping around and had made it to Polar's hands as she was skating. Crescent had noticed the blood escaping from the bodies of the creatures and managed to manipulate it and threw it towards the creatures. Return X noticed a light coming from the five doors and fired at two of them. The doors had slammed shut and then Polar had fired icicles and had also hit the lights above the remaining doors and the doors had been shut as well. Stag had dealt with one more of the creature and it was all over. Doppler had stepped out of the cage and looked around) “Whew, we did it, Ava, I'm glad you came.” Stag said. “Your welcome, but Polar, Crescent, it's good that everyone's okay.” Ava said. (They heard a thud and looked. They found Return X lying while breathing slowly. Everyone rushed to him) “Return X, are you alright?” Cream asked. “My power, it's failing, please, give me help.” Return X whispered. (His armor was melting and then lowered his head and closed his eyes. Doppler had Return X held into his arms and looked at Ava) “We must get out of here.” Doppler said. “Right, but how can we?” Ava asked. “We must think of a way.” Polar said. (The room began to glow bright and the group were teleported away. They were now in a hallway with many of the cell doors opened up. Everyone saw both Axl and Bristol) “Whoa, Ava, what just happened, you appeared out of thin air!” Bristol said. “I know, but Return X, he needs our help.” Ava said. “Well, we got the prisoners out of here.” Bristol said. “All that's needed to be done is to get out!” Axl said. (Everyone was running towards the opening where they first got in. There were guards and Axl fired energy pellets from his buster and they exploded. They made it to the opening and Polar formed a bridge to get across. Everyone noticed an opening on the wall and believed that everyone got out. They made it to the ground and kept running.
After making it halfway through, robots wearing purple armor had began to attack. Doppler and Cream moved away as everyone else was fighting. The three made it far away from the fighting and Doppler lied Return X down onto the grass) “Return X, wake up!” Doppler yelled. (Return X still has his eyes closed and Cream looked sad. Doppler closed his eyes till he felt a hand touch his cheek. Doppler looked and saw Return X touching Doppler's face with a mechanical hand as everything but his helmet was melted. Return X gave a faint smile and Doppler smiled. Cream jumped and looked back. Doppler then took the time to look at Return X's scars) “Were you created with those?” Doppler asked. “Huh, what do you mean?” Return X asked. “The.” Doppler said. (Before he could finish his sentence, energy blasts had hit around Doppler and he shielded Return X with his body. When the energy was gone, Doppler looked and found Vile) “Hello Dr. Doppler.” Vile said. “Vile, you again, what do you want?” Doppler asked. “I came here to stall time, now I can hear that the traitor will die.” Vile said. “No, he's still alive, I can feel it!” Doppler said. “Well, how about this?” Vile asked. (He had dashed at Doppler and punched him. When Doppler was on the ground, Vile fired an energy laser straight at Return X's chest, right where the red diamond was. Return X had closed his eyes as the diamond was shattered. Doppler then quickly got up and Cream screamed) “No!” Doppler yelled. “What are you going to do doc?” Vile asked. “You've done it Vile, (Doppler looked down upon Return X) killing another Reploid, I've had enough.” Doppler said. “Oh, so are you just going to use your Neuro Computer, I'm so afraid.” Vile said. “Wrong, now face me!” Doppler yelled. (He took off his labcoat quickly and Cream grabbed it. It revealed gray mechanical parts. Vile fired a shot from his shoulder cannon, but Doppler formed a green barrier of electricity around himself and the shot became absorbed. Vile continued to fire and then fired a napalm from his knee. The electricity around Doppler had disappeared and Doppler formed a shield made of fire which protected him from the napalm's explosion. Doppler then dashed at Vile and punched him, the fire surrounding Doppler had then began to burn onto Vile. Doppler backed up and then fired balls of electricity. Vile jumped over them, but then, Doppler threw a pink ball and it then got stuck to Vile. The electric balls had reversed and then hit Vile. Vile hit the ground and then Doppler had kicked Vile on the head. Vile had rolled a bit and Doppler had stepped onto Vile's chest with an energy sphere in hand) “Doppler, have you gone mad?” Vile asked. “No, this must be done.” Doppler said. (He was about to fire till he heard Cream. He looked and then Vile fired an energy blast which pushed Doppler away. Vile got up and teleported away. Doppler got up as well and grabbed his labcoat and was putting it back on) “I'm sorry that he got away.” Cream said. “It's alright Cream, but we have bigger things, hang on, I won't let you die.” Doppler said. (He grabbed Return X and carried him in his arms. Polar and the others had showed up) “Doppler, Cream, are you alright?” Polar asked. “Yes, but we must keep going, I can feel that Return X doesn't have much time.” Doppler said. (They had continued to run as Ava was in the lead.
Meanwhile, at the rendezvous point, it was another refuge camp except the main tent was a wooden house. On the roof, Axl was looking up and then saw Slasher up above him. Slasher then flew down to Axl's level and was hovering) “Hey Axl, is something wrong?” Slasher asked. “Huh, oh, I was just thinking about Limited and how it's changing my body.” Axl said. “Yeah, you remind me of Vile, maybe it's just for the shoulder cannon.” Slasher said. “Maybe when Return X shows up, he can tell me more about Limited.” Axl said. “Well, I flew around the place helping the others, but nothing much.” Slasher said. “I see, how's Zero?” Axl asked. “Oh, they let him go, he's not going to cause more problems right now.” Slasher said. “That's good, but, tell me, how did you join with the Dictator?” Axl asked. “I met with Tackione and he convinced me by telling me that I could destroy Zero.” Slasher explained. “Revenge?” Axl asked. “No, just a little payback after he kept arresting me, even before I met with you.” Slasher explained. “Well, Zero is one of the best Maverick Hunters around, just like X.” Axl said. “Yeah, I know that part, (Slasher noticed the gates opening up and then came in Sonic with Doppler and the others) hey, their here.” Slasher said. (Axl gt up and noticed Return X. Axl jumped down and rushed to Doppler) “Doppler, is everything okay?” Axl asked. “This way Doppler!” Sonic said. (He and Doppler ran off and Axl began to run. Slasher went up to Ava) “What's going on?” Slasher asked. “Return X, he needs major help, where did Doppler and Sonic go to?” Ava asked. “Well, they went somewhere with Axl, I'll try to find them.” Slasher said. (He flew up and then went after the trio.
After flying around for a while, he found the three inside of a cabin and looked inside. He found Return X lying on a wooden bed. There was a tree stump behind the bed and cables escaped out from Return X's body and was wrapping around and connecting to the stump. Axl noticed Slasher looking out the window and rushed out to meet with him) “Slasher, thank goodness your here.” Axl said. “Axl, what's going on?” Slasher asked. “I don't know, but Return X is in trouble.” Axl said. (Doppler and Sonic came outside) “Axl, I need you in here.” Doppler said. “Okay, Slasher, go to the others, we'll take care of things here.” Axl said. (He and Doppler went into the cabin and closed the door. Slasher ignored the words of Axl and looked through the window. He saw Doppler sitting down onto a chair and had tools emerge from the tips of his fingers and he began to work on Return X. Axl and Sonic just watched as Doppler kept working.
After an hour, Doppler had did something on Return X's chest and backed away with a shocked look on his face. Doppler then looked to Axl and went over to him. The two were talking, and Slasher had listened through an opening) “I can't believe this has happened.” Doppler said. “What happened Doppler, is everything alright?” Axl asked. “Axl, you are a Limited Reploid, right?” Doppler asked. “Yeah, I've been going through weird changes while we were separated.” Axl explained. “Good, I'll just check for the Limited Core.” Doppler said. (Slasher went back to the window and saw Doppler open up Axl's chest and they all saw a dark blue sphere with a glowing red center. Surrounding the Limited Core were wires and Doppler grabbed some of them and took them to Return X's chest. Doppler then went back to Axl and so did Slasher with the hole) “So what did you just do?” Axl asked. “I don't know how or why, but Return X doesn't have a Limited Core, I'm allowing you to share a part of yours to his.” Doppler explained. “Will this hurt?” Axl asked. “I don't know, since it's been a very long time since.” Doppler said. “Since what?” Axl asked. “Just sit down on the stump please.” Doppler said. (Axl had sat down and then began to scream. Slasher rushed to the window and saw the wires connecting to the stump had began to connect to Axl. Axl tried to get off, but he was stuck. Slasher had rushed inside and was about to help Axl, but Doppler grabbed Slasher's arm) “Doppler, what are you doing to Axl?” Slasher asked. “It's nothing dangerous, but it could just knock Axl out, it should take a few hours till the transfer is complete.” Doppler said. “Well, what can I do, Axl, are you alright with this?” Slasher asked. “I feel more stranger, but, I'm getting weaker.” Axl said. (He collapsed and Slasher was trying to make Doppler let go. Doppler dragged Slasher out and then locked the door. Slasher went to the window, but there were curtains. Slasher had looked at Sonic) “So what do you want to do?” Sonic asked. “Well, maybe we should check on the others, they must be tired.” Slasher said. (He and Sonic went away to look for the others.
After a while, they found everyone around a camp fire sitting on stumps. The two sat down and look around at the huge fire) “Sonic, where were you?” Stevie asked. “We were watching as Doppler was helping Return X.” Sonic explained. “Is he alright?” Cream asked. “Well, the doc was talking about something called a Limited Core, but I have no idea what it is.” Sonic said. “We just have to give Doppler time, besides, I heard that we are going to the Dictator's Palace tomorrow, so we need lot's of rest.” Mille said. “We're going there tomorrow?” Sonic asked. “Yes, the end is near for this journey.” Mille said. (Shade got up from his seat and was walking away) “Hey Shade, where are you going?” Stevie asked. (Shade ignored Stevie's words and went towards the gates to the outside. Zero got up and went after him. Zero went outside of the camp and saw Shade sitting on a hill in the distance.
Walking up the small hill, Zero made it to the top where he saw Shade holding onto his katana shining in the moon light) “Shade, what's wrong?” Zero asked. “I'm nervous, what if I loose Tiffany like Ivory?” Shade asked. “That's not going to happen, Tiffany is strong on her own and she knows what to do.” Zero said. “But how can I be sure of that, will I fulfill Ivory's promise to me?” Shade asked. “That I don't know, but I hope that we will win.” Zero said. (He sat down next to Shade and looked up. Shade looked up as well) “What are you looking at?” Shade asked. “Sometimes, after I fight Mavericks, I see her, looking down upon me.” Zero said. “Her, who?” Shade asked. “Her name was Iris, it was after the last events of Limited and I met her at Sky Lagoon's remains after it crashed to the ground by Magma Dragoon, a Maverick who betrayed us hunters.” Zero said. “With the words of the sky, she died?” Shade asked. “Yes, I remember, after I killed Colonel, she got angry at me and salvaged her brother's remains to find his core, I met with Iris in the Final Weapon and I fought with her, I won, but all I could do was, sniff.” Zero said. (He began to cry) “Zero, so that must mean Iris meant a lot to you.” Shade said. “She did, and all I could do was talk to her before she died, I remembered screaming 'what am I fighting for'.” Zero said. “I understand how it feels, me and Tiffany had lost our parents, and Tiffany was only a baby.” Shade said. “I just realized something, (Zero got up) with Ivory's death, it reminded me of Iris's, also, the Dark Crystal is just like Replicapture, was it Tackione who settled this up, or was it the Dictator?” Zero asked. “I don't know if those were coincidences or not.” Shade said. “Whoever made those events knows about me, but how, and why?” Zero asked. “Not a clue, but I would guess Tackione.” Shade said. “I don't think that's it, to me, it's the Dictator.” Zero said. “Well, whatever choice you make.” Shade said. “We should head back to the camp before we get into problems like Doppler and the others.” Zero said. (He and Shade dashed and ran back to the camp.
They made it back and sat down with the others. Crescent was nowhere to be found) “Hey guys, what's with the rush?” Amy asked. “We just realized it, some events that had happened are just like before.” Zero said. “What do you mean?” Rouge asked. “The Dark Crystal is just like Replicapture and Ivory's death was just like Iris's.” Zero explained. “How does that work, maybe it was just a coincidence.” Tails said. “Well, Crescent might know a thing or two about this who thing.” Polar said. “Well, where is he?” Zero asked. “Well, he told me that he had to go to bed.” Janet explained. “So should I go talk to him?” Zero asked. “No, I don't think it's nice to bother my brother.” Polar said. “Okay, so what should we talk about?” Knuckles asked. “Maybe some of my stories from when I was a young lad.” Billy said. “I think that will work.” Bristol said.
(After a few hours of stories, everyone decided to go to sleep, they putted out the fire and then went into tents and fell asleep. Mille was awake as she noticed Zero looking up) “Zero, is everything alright?” Mille asked. “Huh, oh yes, I was just thinking.” Zero said. “Is it about Iris?” Mille asked. “Yeah, but also with the Dictator, we're going to be fighting our way through the Dictator's Palace.” Zero said. “What about Return X?” Mille asked. “Him, I just hope that he's going to be okay.” Zero said. “So you care for one who tried to kill your friend?” Mille asked. “Um, no, it's just that he knows where the Dictator is located, maybe Janet will find Lighting too.” Zero said. “I'm happy and sad for Janet, but she knows that Lighting is safe somewhere.” Mille said. “I also have another question, what happened to Axl?” Zero asked. “Axl, well, sorry that I held the question for a while, but the Dark Jewels have this power to bond with the ones who made first contact with them, remembered when we first met, it was that time that the Dark Ruby was bonding with Axl.” Mille said. “But what about the Dark Diamond, how did it bond with you, and will it happen to X?” Zero asked. “Well, I can't say about the Dark Diamond's bond with me, but I do know that it won't affect X, besides, he has a bond already.” Mille said. “The Dark Crystal.” Zero said. “Yes, that's why, so, goodnight.” Mille said. (She grabbed the covers and fell asleep) “Goodnight everyone, hopefully we'll all be ready.” Zero thought. (He closed his eyes and began to dream.
It became morning and the sun was rising. Zero woke up first and got up from his tent. He noticed that everyone else was still asleep and went to the cabin where the three Reploids were. Zero opened the door and saw Doppler and Axl asleep with Doppler lying his head and arms on the table with Return X. Zero walked towards the Reploids and shook on Doppler's shoulder. Doppler then began to wake up. He noticed Zero and looked at Return X. The two noticed that the wires connecting to Axl were gone and his Limited Core was about the same size as the one in Return X's. Doppler had touched Return X's body and Zero opened the curtains. The sun light came through and Doppler noticed Return X's eyes were beginning to open up. There were blue irises, but they then changed purple to a bright red just like the gem and triangles on his helmet. Return X got up and went off the table. He was then hugged by Doppler) “Oh, I'm so happy that your alive!” Doppler said. “Doppler.” Return X said. (While Doppler hugged Return X, Zero walked up to Axl who was still sleeping. Zero then slapped Axl) “Ouch, Zero, oh is it morning, (Zero pointed to Doppler and Return X who were still hugging) so me and Doppler did it, (Axl got up and was walking towards the two) I'm glad that it worked.” Axl said. “Doppler, while I was asleep, I remembered more of my memories, you were my creator, and Limited, just the right time too, but why was I asleep?” Return X asked. “While your recovering, I'll tell you, Zero, Axl, can you leave me and Return X alone, he needs his rest.” Doppler said. “Okay, we'll leave, come on Axl, it's time we get ready.” Zero said. “Good luck recovering Return X.” Axl said. (He and Zero went out of the cabin) “After all these years, I never knew that you were alive.” Doppler said. “The factory, yeah, I remember that.” Return X said. “But I have a question for you, what happened to your Limited Core?” Doppler asked. “That, I can't remember, the Dark Chains are preventing me from remembering.” Return X explained. “Well, you should get your rest while I work to get your armor back.” Doppler said. (Return X had lied down onto the bed and Doppler began to work on him.
Zero and Axl walked out and found everyone going out trying to help as much as they can. There were many forces getting ready holding onto swords and shields while wearing armor. Many of the boats were being unloaded with weapons and other objects. The two Reploids entered into the main tent and found Ava, Bristol, Billy, and Leader. They were with a map which was on a table) “Zero, good morning.” Ava said. “Yes, so today's the day we fight.” Zero said. “Indeed, I haven't lead an army this big in many years.” Bristol said. “I do hope the best of luck for you.” Axl said. “Luck isn't all that I need, an army cannot support itself without a general.” Bristol said. “I know you will do it Bristol, this will be the last battle against the Dictator, we can't loose.” Ava said. “Thank you Ava, Zero, Axl, we have decided upon our plan, I will tell you this for my speech.” Bristol said. “Leader, what do you think of this?” Axl asked. “Dangerous, but war can never be without it's tolls.” Leader said. “Well, we'll get ready.” Zero said. (He and Axl walked out) “Let's finish this plan.” Ava said.
(Meanwhile, on a hill, Sonic was watching the sun as it was rising. While his back was turned, Amy had walked up to him) “Sonic, do you think this whole thing will be over?” Amy asked. “Amy, what are you doing here?” Sonic asked. “I came to see if you were alright, what are you doing here?” Amy asked. “Well, I came just to relax a bit, going to a battle is kinda hard.” Sonic said. “But I know that we're going to make it out alive, I'm sure Ivory is okay with this, besides, if it wasn't for her, we wouldn’t be here.” Amy said. “I know, and I just realized something.” Sonic said. “Yes, what is it?” Amy asked. “We still don't have the final Chaos Emerald.” Sonic explained. “Oh, I thought you were going to talk about something else.” Amy said. “I know what you want to hear, I hope your ready Dictator, for this is the end.” Sonic said. “Hey guys, we have to get going!” Stevie yelled. “Are you ready Amy?” Sonic asked. “Yes.” Amy said. (They ran off back into the camp.
They found many soldiers in front of the main tent and Bristol and Leader came out) “My friends, today is the day that we fight for the end of this war.” Bristol said. “It has been ten years since this had all began, but now it's time to go.” Leader said. “That is correct, Sonic and friends, you will all go and destroy the Dictator while my soldiers fight the army.” Bristol said. “Got it, we'll do our best.” Sonic said. (Bristol grabbed out his sword and raised it up and it was shining in the sunlight. Everyone began to walk away from the camp and towards the outside. Sonic and friends followed and they found Return X with Xover) “Xover, and Return X, your okay!” Axl said. “Yeah, Doppler fully repaired me, he was quick with it.” Return X said. “So is Doppler coming with us?” Axl asked. “No, both he and Anna are staying here.” Xover explained. “I see, thanks for the info.” Zero said. “Your welcome.” Xover said. (They all saw the injured and the nurses waving goodbye as the troops were leaving. Bristol and Ava were coming along and reached to Sonic and friends. They then left the camp and were marching towards the end.
After a very long time of walking, the army had finally made it to an empty desert like terrain and found the Dictator's Palace. It was made of metal with tall buildings and it was all gray. Right as Cream took a single step, an army of robots and Mechanaloids had appeared. Bristol got out his sword ounce again) “Charge!” Bristol yelled. (Everyone was running and charging towards the enemy machines. The robots had rushed towards the Rebellion and they were fighting. Sonic was boosting through the robots while his friends were behind him running. Some robots were flung up in the air and they fired at the heroes. Janet had threw a lighting bolt and it made the robot explode. Solar threw fireballs while Zero was slashing at the Mechanaloids. Sonic made it to the entrance and it opened up by Sonic's presence. He and everyone but Zero and Solar got in. Zero and Solar were surrounded by Mechanaloids and they began to open fire. Zero rolled away and then dashed and slashed one of the robot's legs. It fell and crushed a group of robots. Solar had slammed his sword into the ground and formed a path of lava right at the robots. Their legs were being melted and the animal soldiers had attacked the machines while avoiding the lava. Zero noticed the doors closing and grabbed Solar. He was dashing towards the palace as the doors kept moving closer. They barely made it inside and the doors were shut) “Whew, we made it inside.” Tails said. (They looked around to see that the palace was mostly made of metal with the sound of gears behind the purple metal walls. Then, the ground began to rumble and everyone fell to the ground. Outside, Bristol, Ava, Stevie, and Leader find that the palace was shaking and then it had risen up to the sky. The top tower's tip had opened up and then dark clouds began to form. Then, lighting bolts had hit the ground where the battle was. Bristol had raised his sword again) “Retreat, retreat!” Bristol yelled. (The animals were scrambling to escape from the machines and lighting and they made it. The machines backed off and watched) “Is there anything else we can do?” Stevie asked. “No, it's up to Sonic to end this, all we can do is wait.” Leader said. (They continued to watch as the clouds began to thicken and more lighting had hit.
Inside of the Dictator's Palace, everyone got up) “Is everyone okay?” Solar asked. “Yes, just a bit shaken.” Whirlpool said. “So now that were here, where do we go?” Knuckles asked. (Axl looked at Return X) “You worked with the Dictator, so you know your way.” Axl said. “Of course, everyone knows, ugh, just follow me.” Return X said. “Wait!” Janet said. “What is it Janet?” Solar asked. “I can sense it, Lighting is here, we just have to find him.” Janet said. “But are you sure about that?” Whirlpool asked. “I know of it, you guys go on ahead while I search for Lighting.” Janet said. “It's not safe around here, besides, the Dictator knows that we're inside.” Return X said. “Right, me and Cream will go with you Janet.” Amy said. “Chao!” Angel said. “Yes Angel, you and the two chao can come with us.” Cream said. “Good luck Amy!” Sonic yelled. “You too Sonic!” Amy yelled. “Are we going or not?” Return X asked. “Sorry for wasting time, let's go!” Zero said. (They all began to run towards the giant tower in the distance. As they kept on running, they made it to a dead end and there were rails) “Do you guys go on rails?” Sonic asked. “No, it might not be safe for us, we'll find another way and meet with you.” Slasher said. (The animals had gotten onto the rails and Tiffany held onto Shade's back. The Reploids had ran right and found robots which opened fire. Axl, Xover, and Return X fired energy pellets as Zero dashed through and slashed them. Slasher had flew up to the air and went to Sonic and friends. They all noticed that there were robots with wings firing at everyone. Shade, Rouge, Shadow, and Solar threw bombs, surikens, Chaos Spears, and fireballs at them while Slasher was firing off Sonic Slicers. With the Reploids, the four made it passed the robots and Return X was in the lead) “Come on, this way, the rails end farther up!” Return X said. (He ran off and the two Maverick Hunters and Xover followed.
Meanwhile, Janet, Amy, and Cream made it inside of a tower. Inside, it was gray with red lines and light green fluids. They looked around and found a door. It opened up and revealed laser cannons which fired. Janet pushed Amy and Cream out of the way as they fired. Ivory's chao had flew over to the cannons and rammed right into them and making them explode. The chao flew back to Janet and the two and they went into the room. They stopped as it was an opening to rails. Cream jumped down and landed onto a rail. Amy and Janet went down and began to ride on the rails. They looked up to see the dark clouds and lighting was striking down. Some had hit Janet, but she was unaffected. While they were riding, more robots appeared on the rails heading towards the girls. Janet had fired lighting bolts from the absorbed energy and made them blow up. They made it to the end of the rails and there were springs which were hit and they were flung up. The girls landed on the cold steel ground and the opening had closed up. The room was a hallway and the group had walked through it.
They found a door and opened it up. Inside was an entirely gray room shaped like a cylinder and in the center was Lighting being held my mechanical tentacles. Janet walked towards him, but then, he was raised up and the door behind them closed up. Then, Octopod had appeared wearing a red and golden coat) “Hello Janet, I was waiting for you and your friends.” Octopod said. “What did you do to my son this whole time?” Janet asked. “Don't blame me, I was just waiting by the Dictator's orders, now do you want the hedgehog or not?” Octopod asked. “Yes, just give him to me peacefully.” Janet said. “Forgive me young lady, but there are no intruders allowed, so you just sit tight while I constrict you all to pieces.” Octopod said. “Don't worry Janet, we'll show him!” Amy yelled. (She grabbed out her hammer and rushed towards Octopod. He jumped away and wrapped Amy in his tentacles. Devil had flown to Amy and was biting on the metal. Octopod had landed and then made five of his tentacles fired jets of water from the opening holes. Janet rushed towards Octopod and avoided the water while Cream got hit by the blasts of water. Janet made it to Octopod and grabbed onto the coat and began to shock Octopod. Then, the jets of water had blown Janet away and her fur began to emit static electricity. Her, Cream, and Octopod were getting electrocuted. Devil freed Amy and she fell, but Devil caught her and kept her from the water. Amy looked up to notice Lighting getting shocked) “Lighting, wake up!” Amy yelled. (Lighting slowly began to open his eyes. After the shock, Octopod had grabbed Janet and dragged her to him) “Now your going to pay.” Octopod said. (He began to constrict Janet and her armor was breaking. Janet began to scream, waking Lighting up. Lighting broke from the grasp and Devil dropped Amy) “Mother, leave her alone!” Lighting yelled. (He rushed towards Octopod, but he fired water from his tentacles. Lighting jumped around and then rammed into Octopod and was electrocuting him. Amy had walked up and then slammed her hammer at Octopod. The force made Octopod break through a wall to the outside. Sonic and friends noticed this while on the rails and saw Octopod trying to wrap Lighting and others) “Look, it's Lighting with Amy, we must help him!” Solar said. “No, it's up to Lighting and the others, we must keep going.” Mille said. (The rain was making Lighting and Janet's fur emit electricity. Lighting began to spin and then Amy had slammed her hammer at Lighting. Lighting rammed right into Octopod and Lighting grabbed Octopod and was punching him. Octopod was moving back and then, they fell off the edge. Cream and Amy screamed and Cream closed her eyes. The three chao looked to find Lighting still punching Octopod as he was holding onto a rail. The grasp on Janet was being weakened and then Octopod let go of Janet. Lighting noticed this, but the chao rushed to her) “Well hedgehog, looks like your alone.” Octopod said. (Tentacles wrapped around Lighting and was pushing him away from Octopod. The rain kept going harder and lighting bolts were hitting the sky below. Octopod dropped Lighting, but he held onto a rail. Octopod had fired three tentacles and Lighting avoided them. Lighting had fired a lighting bolt at Octopod's chest and he was getting fried. Lighting was climbing towards Octopod while he was still getting shocked and then kicked Octopod in the face while grabbing a tentacle. Lighting then began to slip on the metal and he let go. Octopod then looked down and then, he saw Angel, Light, and Devil holding Janet up and Lighting was in her arms. The two then pointed their hands at Octopod and then fired a purple/yellow lighting bolt which hit Octopod and caused him to fall to the depths below. The three chao had let go of the two. Janet then hugged Lighting and began to cry. Amy and Cream rushed over to the two) “Lighting, I'm so happy that your alive.” Janet said. “I know mom, sorry for causing you so much worry.” Lighting said. (He gave a smile. Amy and Cream smiled while the three chao were circling around Janet and Lighting) “Do you think that Octopod is gone?” Cream asked. “I don't know, but the force of impact did it.” Amy said. (Janet let go of Lighting and then took off the remains of her armor to reveal her lab coat) “That armor, wasn't that the prototype?” Lighting asked. “Yes, but it seems that I don't need it anymore.” Janet said. (The tower began to glow and it unleashed a red beam at the center tower) “What is that?” Cream asked. “I don't know, but the best thing we can do is get back with Sonic!” Amy said. (She ran off and the others followed.
Meanwhile, the Maverick Hunters with Return X and Xover went inside of a hallway) “So where are we?” Axl asked. “This must be the weapons storage.” Return X said. (He dashed forward and the others went after him. They found Mavericks and they began to open fire. The Reploids dodged their firepower and Axl and Return X fired back while Zero had slashed through the forces. They kept going through till they entered into another room. It was filled with aircrafts and other weapons. Xover looked through his Battle Memory and had pressed on it. Xover then jumped up and let many gray eagle Reploids fall from the ceiling to the planes and among the Mavericks inside. Xover landed and looked around to make sure that the planes and other weaponry were destroyed. Return X made it to a room and then the other Reploids followed. Return X then began to activate the controls and the floor revealed itself to be an elevator. It went up to the top and then up above, Sonic and friends had just finished riding the rails) “Whoa, what a surprise, you've made it to us, quite fast.” Tails said. “Yeah, but we have to find the Dictator.” Zero said. (Return X pointed to the main tower emitting the black clouds) “That's the main tower, let's just head on over.” Return X said. (He dashed off and the others followed. They looked up over head and saw the red laser fire at the main tower. The giant door on the tower began to open up and everyone entered in.
Inside, they found Eggman's robots and were blasting through them and got to an elevator. It began to rise up to the halfway point. When they made it to the halfway, they all found a hallway and then began to run through. When they got into another room and everyone but Return X exited out, Return X then felt pain and fell to the ground. Axl looked back and noticed this. He dashed towards Return X and was next to him) “Return X, are you alright?” Axl asked. “I feel it, my body isn't responding, it's like it's been shut down.” Return X said. “What, but why so sudden?” Axl asked. “I don't know, but get me up.” Return X said. “Okay, just try to stay calm.” Axl said. (He grabbed onto Return X's arm and pulled him up. Right as Axl and Return X turned around, the door then slammed shut and locked itself) “Ah Axl and Return X, so you've decided to stay.” Someone said. (Axl and Return X saw Vile) “Vile, what are you doing here?” Axl asked. “I didn't know that the Dictator's control over Return X's body was so powerful.” Vile said. “So that's what causing me this?” Return X asked. “Of course, now I didn't tell you all that just because I could, but Axl, let's have fun.” Vile said. “Your on.” Axl said. (He let Return X drop to the floor. Both aimed their shoulder cannons at each other and then fired.
Meanwhile, with Sonic and the group, Slasher looked back and stopped) “What is it Slasher?” Sonic asked. “I don't see Axl and Return X, did we leave them behind?” Slasher asked. “Poyo.” Kirby said. “So now you say something, what's up with that?” Rouge asked. “We have to go back.” Amy said. “I don't think so.” Someone said. “Hey, wasn't that Eggman?” Tails asked. “Just made it further.” Eggman said. “Should we listen to him?” Shadow asked. “It's the only way we can find the Dictator.” Mille said. “Good point, now let's hurry.” Knuckles said. (They rush towards the end of the hallway and the door began to open up.
After everyone had gotten through the door, they found the circle platform and themselves to be outside. It was still raining, but then, the ground began to glow and everyone was teleported. They were now in a hallway and began to hear a voice and they moved forward. When they made it to the end, they found themselves at the top of the tower. They found the Dictator sitting on a throne waiting for them) “Sonic, I was waiting for this moment.” Dictator said. “Dictator, it's time for us to finish this!” Sonic said. “Oh, are you sure about that, there's still a guest who wants to say hello.” Dictator said. (Lighting had struck and blinded the heroes. When the light was gone, it revealed the machine from Chapter 1. It had golden armor with two new giant wings and the three heads now had a giant sphere on their foreheads which were colored yellow. The chest opened up to reveal glass with Eggman inside) “Why hello Sonic, such a nice time to meet again.” Eggman said. “Eggman, so you've upgraded your machine!” Sonic said. “Of course I did, now with it perfected, me and the Dictator will destroy you!” Eggman yelled. “Get ready guys, it looks like this is the end!” Sonic said. (Eggman fired a spike ball while the Dictator had fired energy shots from his hands. Zero slashed at the Dictator while Sonic spin dashed into him. A blue shield formed around the Dictator and Sonic bounced back by the golden armor) “What just happened?” Zero asked. “How do you like that Zero, it was made by your old friend.” Dictator said. “X, no, how is that possible?” Sonic asked. “We'll let you decide when your dead!” Eggman said. (Sonic had dashed right at the Dictator, but the shield was still up. Sonic got slashed and he collided into Mille. Everyone but the two were fighting) “Can we use the Dark Jewels?” Sonic asked. “Their power is not ready, they've been unstable since this whole thing began, I'm afraid to say this is the end.” Mille said. “No, but then how could you have used the Dark Diamond?” Sonic asked. “It's power was peaking when I used it, but now it's back to being useless.” Mille said. “I'll try absorbing them.” Sonic said. “Don't Sonic, your body won't handle the Negative Energy, it will destroy you!” Mille yelled. “If that's what I need to save this world, I'll do it.” Sonic said. (He raised up the Dark Emerald and Dark Amethyst and Negative Energy was shocking Sonic. Mille had pulled away the Dark Amethyst and Sonic was still in pain) “We can't do it Sonic, we've lost.” Mille said. “No, we're not going to die today!” Sonic yelled. (He boosted right at Eggman, but was swatted away. Everyone began to fight, but the blue shield and the Dimension Metal proved to much and everyone became exhausted) “What's wrong everyone?” Eggman asked. (Zero began to get up) “X, if you can still hear me, stop it right now!” Zero yelled. “It's too late Zero, your best friend is now mine.” Dictator said. (He began to glow and energy was being absorbed. Zero noticed the shield was gone and dashed towards him while screaming. He was slashing, but Eggman had fired spike balls and pushed Zero back. Zero kept doing this, but each time failed. Dictator had now glowed as bright as the sun and then, silence. The whole place glowed white and it lasted for quite a while. During this, there was a blue flash of light and it disappeared as well.
With Leader and the Rebellion, they saw the bright light from a top the tower) “What is that?” Stevie asked. “I don't know, but it must be something big.” Ava said. “I just hope that Sonic is okay.” Bristol said. “That light has penetrated the clouds, such force.” Leader said. (They continued to watch as the light began to die down. When it was over, the clouds were gone.
With Sonic and friends at the Dictator's throne, they were gone as well. The only ones in the room were Eggman and Dictator) “So it has ended, Sonic is no more.” Eggman said. (He landed and then went out of the machine and looked around. All that remained was the Chaos Emeralds, the Dark Jewels, Ivory's Dimension Ring and Sonic's Ring. Eggman grabbed the rings and a door opened up. Tackione, Metal Android, and Metal Sonic appeared) “So it seems that your attack was successful.” Tackione said. “It was, now you can conquer all of Mobius.” Dictator said. (Metal Sonic looked down and was walking away. Metal Android noticed this and walked up to him) “Are you upset that Sonic is dead, no more foes left to fight?” Metal Android asked. (Metal Sonic nodded) “So it seems, now we can live a future with only us machines.” Metal Android said. And so, our main heroes but X, Axl, Return X, Amy, Janet, the three chao, Lighting, and Cream are dead. Now only machines rule in this ounce organic dimension, and soon, the six other dimensions will suffer the same fate.
